This weekend will see some free bowling in Kapuskasing thanks to a pair of local organizations.

According to Worker Rhonda Martin, the Kapuskasing Indian Friendship Centre alongside Kunuwanimano Child and Family Services are hosting a free bowling day.

Martin says it is a part of their ‘Families that Play Together, Stay Together’ program.

She says the program is based around giving families an opportunity to enjoy activities together, without financial worry.

Martin also says the program began slow, but the monthly activities continue to gather further participation.

She says all families are welcome to attend the free bowling day.

The free activity takes place at North Side Lanes in Kapuskasing from 10:00am to 12:00pm this Saturday.
