One Kapuskasing woman is using her love of knitting to give back to her community.
Owner and Creator of Kap Knits Back Pamela Longtin has begun knitting goods such as mittens and hats for those in need.
Longtin says she created a Facebook group and got into contact with the Indian Friendship Centre to help her push her idea of giving forward.
Since, Longtin says the needs of the community continue to grow, and so has her plans.

She says already different organizations have her knitting for them, and she plans to help out even more going forward.
She hopes to have her non-profit organization fully setup in Kapuskasing within the next year, allowing her to branch out to other communities.
