A pair from Hearst has become $400,000 wealthier thanks to one lucky spin.
83-year-old Alfred Konrad of Hearst took a spin of The Big Spin Wheel at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto this week and came away with a $400,000 in winnings.
He and his common law partner for the past five years 76-year-old Mirelle Levasseur were gassing up at the Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Front Street in Hearst when he picked up the tickets.
Konrad says he then scratched them and returned to find out he had a chance to head to Toronto for The Big Spin.

He says with the winnings, the pair is already envisioning some more travel plans in their future, including a possible trip to Las Vegas.
