A local resident will take a second shot at being crowned Miss Northern Ontario.
Chanelle Larabie will represent Fauquier-Strickland in the 2018 pageant, after representing Kapuskasing the year prior.
Larabie says she has a goal in mind, and also a realistic outlook on the fact that this may be her last competition.
She also says the experiences gained from the year prior should serve her well.

Larabie says following her two years of competition, she hopes young girls see her as in inspiration to try something new.
The Miss Northern Ontario Pageant for 2018 takes place in Sudbury at the Sheridan Auditorium Friday, April 27th and Saturday April 28th.
