Kapuskasing has picked a company to engineer a water and sewer line for their new CanAssist facility.
Mayor Alan Spacek says council has agreed to award EXP New Liskeard with the engineering contract at a cost of $61,429 plus HST.
Spacek says EXP is already being used as the engineering firm to build the facility, so this made perfect sense to create further cohesion.
He also says EXP was a part of the Geotechnical Study for the project and is designing the sewer system on site, so their knowledge of the infrastructure is a benefit.
