Ethics Of Rapprochement Second Seminar Taking Place In Hearst

Next Friday Hearst will be home to part two of the healing process between non-Indigenous and Indigenous people.

That’s according to Grand-Nord Legal Clinic Executive Director Pierre Payeur, who says you don’t need to have participated in Kapuskasing at last year’s event to be a part of this year’s.

Payeur says they hope to bring local leaders together to reconcile.

He also says his job since day one has been to improve the relationship between indigenous and non-indigenous communities.

The Ethics of Rapprochement Seminar, in partnership with Universite de Hearst and the Nord-Aski Family Health team begins at 8:30am on Friday, April 20th.
