Icehawks To Honour Humboldt Broncos, Unify Over Terrible Tragedy

A tragic accident that took the lives of 15 young hockey players has inspired a local rep coach to make a difference.

Head Coach of the Kapuskasing Midget A Icehawks Jacques Dagenais says he already talks to his players on the weekly about life, hardships and turmoil.

Dagenais says, following the tragedy of the Humboldt Broncos Junior A team, he and his team has decided as a sign of respect to wear green tape during their upcoming Ontario Hockey Federation tournament.

He also says he will focus this next weekly chat on how to respond to an event such as this.
