The last full week of May will be for celebrating public works in Kapuskasing.
Announced by the town this past week, the request to designate May 20th through 26th as National Public Works Week was accepted.
The request stemmed from the Municipality of Stratford who are looking to gather as many communities as possible together to celebrate public works.
Mayor Alan Spacek says the week will be a good opportunity to show support for the Public Works Department throughout the region.
