The Cochrane Board of Trade is planning a fundraiser to help support Chimo’s return home for 2018.
President of the Board Jamie Mageau says they are hosting the fundraiser in order to collect and support their purchases of two new Chimo statues.
Mageau says the larger version will be stored away during the festivities, but the smaller version will be on display.
He also says this will be a great opportunity for the community to enjoy a fun evening out while supporting the town and Chimo, as well as the first spring event at the new Pavilion.
The Chimo Homecoming Fundraiser Gala will be held on April 7th at the new Pavilion on Lake Commando.
