A $99 million investment to Greater Sudbury Transit could see a trickle effect down to northern townships such as Kapuskasing.
The federal government has stated that other townships and cities such as Kapuskasing, Cochrane, and Timmins make up a group who are also eligible for funding.
Mayor Alan Spacek says at the moment, they have very little information.
Spacek says they will review the announcement before discussing at council.
The federal government has also stated that individual communities will get to decide how to use the funding for transit improvements.
