After months of preparation, Kapuskasing’s own the ‘How Do You Like Me Nows’ are releasing their second album.
The album titled, “The Block” will be released on March 31st, and Lead Singer and Guitarist Dennis Habel says the album is a socio-political observation of living in the city.
Habel says he wanted to share his real-life experiences, the pain, the learning and the emotions that are life.
He also says an emotional loss tested their will along the way, but thanks to help they persevered.
Habel also forewarns, alongside bandmates Dan Tremblay, Jessie Chimm and Jacques Groulx-Couture, that this album is a real, true-to-life take on the struggles of drug abuse, homelessness and suicide.
“The Block” becomes available for purchase on March 31st and will be available to stream off of Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music.
