Kapuskasing resident and United Steelworkers Local 1-2010 President Guy Bourgouin has officially been named an NDP candidate.
Bourgouin was introduced last night at La Forge in Kapuskasing by Leader of the Ontario New Democratic Party Andrea Horwath as the official party candidate for Mushekgowuk-James Bay.
Horwath says Bourgouin will make a great NDP member and soon MPP for the area.
Bourgouin says his first reaction, excitement.
He also says he has the experience needed, and he hopes to prove that.
The next steps for Bourgouin and the Ontario NDP are to prepare for the upcoming provincial election on June 7th.
