Kapuskasing’s members of the Youth Bowling Council are headed to North Bay this weekend to compete in the Provincial Championships.
Bowling Coach Lorraine Peters says she is very pleased and proud of her team winning medals at the local championships in February to advance within the competition.
Peters says she couldn’t be more proud of the group this year, and they have re-ignited her passion for bowling.
She says the main focus now, is still as it was, to have fun and make positive memories.
The provincial championships take place on March 4th and 5th in North Bay and the Senior or Combo tournament takes place in Sturgeon Falls.
