Kapuskasing has given the go-ahead to approve three separate policies regarding the workplace.
The town has agreed to separate their Violence policy into a Violence and Harassment policy.
The separation of the Violence policy into two was not the only change, as they have also now added a Working Alone policy.
All policy changes were recommended by the town’s Ministry of Labour representative.
The three policies will come into effect immediately across all workplaces within the municipality of Kapuskasing.
