With a recent crash on Ash Street involving a pair of snowmobiles, the OPP’s James Bay Detachments wants to share some safety tips with the Kapuskasing community.

Media Officer Stephanie Belec says the recent crash last Friday has prompted police to offer further safety tips on how to handle your motorized snow vehicle.

Belec says one major tip is to simply follow the rules of the road.

She says a way to better avoid issues is to not modify any components of your MSV.

The OPP would like to emphasize the importance of knowing and abiding by the law which increases safety for everyone in the community.
