Kapuskasing will be supporting a summer full of adventure and activities for youth all throughout the area.
At council on Monday, Mayor Alan Spacek and fellow members accepted a request for from the North Eastern Ontario Children’s Fund to support their Sponsor a Child Campaign for the Camp Cadanac Summer Camp Program.
Spacek says it is always important to give back and the NEOFACS does a lot of great local work for children.
He says the town will provide roughly $1,400 of assistance to the Sponsor a Child Campaign.
Spacek says giving back to the community is very important, and the fact it will go towards benefiting children is simply an added bonus.
