McPherson Avenue in Kapuskasing has been closed off between Riverside Drive and Kolb Avenue due to a watermain break.
Manager of Public Works Eric Cote says his crew was on scene early Monday working hard to try and repair the issue.
Cote says the watermain break is not uncommon for this time of year.
He says people should not expect to lose any water pressure within the surrounding area due to the break.
Cote also mentioned that the issue could persist throughout the day, but they are hoping to re-open McPherson through to Kolb Avenue by later on this evening.
