Cochrane’s Annual Hockey Fundraiser For MD To Take Place On Valentine’s Day

The Cochrane Fire Department and the OPP James Bay Detachment will become rivals this Valentine’s day for the benefit of Muscular Dystrophy.

The annual fundraiser will see the two sides’ face-off in a hockey game at the Tim Hortons Event Centre.

Cochrane Fire Chief Richard Vallee says the game will raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy as they have done year after year.

Vallee says the charitable fundraiser has always been about giving back to those affected by MD.

He also says he is looking forward to the crowd that will be there to cheer on the two teams.

All proceeds collected from the ticket sales to the event will go towards supporting MD society within Cochrane.

Puck drop for the event is set for 7:00pm on Wednesday, February 14^th.
