A local resident has found her way into a featured exhibit at the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation Art Gallery.
Kapuskasing resident Jo-Anne Fortin has had her collection of artwork featured in the exhibit at TADH since January 8th and will have it remain up for over a month until February 16th.
Fortin’s says her exhibit features a collection of tributes to both people as well as places that have inspired her over the years.
Fortin, who was born in Harty and now resides in Kapuskasing, says her art is acrylics that inspire her in an eclectic style.
She says she enjoys painting spiritual colours, and that to her each painting is like a song that tells a story.
For those interested in the exhibit, all sales of her work will see a percentage stay with the Hospital Foundation for the purchase of medical equipment.
