There will be a new take on an age-old tradition in Cochrane this year.
The Miss Chimo Pageant, for the first time in its over 50 year history, will now go hand-in-hand on the same evening with the first ever Cochrane’s Got Talent event.
Secretary Treasurer for Miss Chimo Pageant Sue Girard says this year; the pageant has seen a dip in participation.
Girard says due to this, they decided to combine these two events together.

She says for the young girls in the area, they couldn’t allow themselves to not put together the Chimo pageant due to a lack of participants.
The pageant and talent show will both take place on Friday, February 2nd at Ecole Secondaire Catholic High School.
