Cochrane Food Bank And Local School Team Up For Book Drive

The Cochrane Food Bank and Aileen Wright English Catholic School have come together in support a school in need.

Through the Tungol Primary School Library Project, students from Aileen Wright and members of the local food bank worked together to help students in Tungol, New Guinea by collecting thousands of books.

The school and food bank collected 3,000 books throughout the months November and December, all purchased or donated from Cochrane.

The Cochrane Public Library also aided the project by donating two computers.

The drive, which lasts until March 21st, will see books, and classroom utensils collected for the small island nation.
