At council Wednesday members decided to table a request from the Kapuskasing and District Professional Health Care Recruitment and Retention Committee for a two per cent increase in their financial contribution for 2018. Mayor Alan Spacek says he was in support of the increase, but council members felt it best to first gain a better understanding of their total yearly contributions to health care before approving.
