A boost to breastfeeding in the Kapuskasing community was made over the holidays.
For a fourth consecutive year Shoppers Drug Mart made a donation to the Kapuskasing Breastfeeding Coalition during the Christmas holidays.
The non-profit organization which relies on donations received just over $2,300 as part of the annual Tree of Life fundraiser at Shoppers.
The KBC has stated that in 2018 they plan to effect change to their mission statement and become more supportive of all feeding choices.
The non-profit organization also expressed their gratitude towards Shoppers Drug Mart for their continued financial support.
