UPDATE: Highway 144 has now been re-opened as of Thursday evening in both directions.
A fatal collision on Highway 144 this morning has left one man dead.
The OPP is confirming that a two-car crash took place on Highway 144 just south of Highway 101 at just before 12:45am this morning.
Police say one man died as a result of the collision.

Currently, OPP Technical Collision Investigators have been called to the scene to assist with the ongoing investigation, which has the Highway down to one open lane of traffic.
Police say the investigation is still on-going, further information will be released as it becomes available.
