The cold weather is affecting the city roadways and highways.
The OPP says while out driving it is important to remember that extreme cold conditions can change the road conditions and the way your car runs. Constable Michelle Simard says roads can become very slick.
Simard adds that if you are planning a long trip, you should make sure you have and emergency kit in your vehicle in case you break-down or get stuck.
She says the biggest thing to remember when roads get bad is to slow down and take your time getting to where you are going.
