Police arrested a Hearst resident Wednesday for driving while impaired.

Officers from the Hearst detachment of the OPP were completing a R.I.D.E. check at roughly 5:00pm on Highway 583 when their investigation into the vehicle showed the female driver was impaired.

Police arrested the 44-year-old Hearst resident on two charges of driving under the influence.

The accused is set to appear in Hearst court on January 10th of 2018.
