Remi Ski Club Toonie Drive Raises Over $3,000

The community has stepped up to keep the local ski hill going strong.

The Remi Ski Club held their annual Toonie Drive along with the 1635 Royal Canadian Army Cadets during the first week of December in Kapuskasing raising just over $3,000.

Organizer and Ski Club Operations Manager Norm Nadeau says they set a goal of raising $3,000 to benefit the club and were able to achieve just that.

He says thank you to the community for their efforts raising funds on the day.

Nadeau says the ski hill is looking to open up just in time for the holidays.
