The results of Operation Safe Trucking are in for the Cochrane and Hearst communities.
OPP Media Officer Stephanie Belec says on December 12th and 13th the OPP alongside the Ministry of Transportation, Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry and Ministry of Finance conducted traffic safety initiatives.
Belec says the results in both Cochrane and Hearst proved to be pretty standard.
She says 62 commercial vehicle stops lead to 9 provincial offences in Cochrane and 54 CMV stops lead to 10 provincial offences in Hearst.

She says the public can expect several R.I.D.E. check points at various times throughout the day during the holiday season.
The OPP reminds everyone in the community to drive responsibly.
