Christmas Concert In Support Of Local Youth Goes Saturday

Once again you can help give local kids in need a chance to play organized sports.

That’s according to Organizer Sheldon Reasbeck, who says for a third straight year they will host a Christmas Concert, and like last year when they raised funds for NEOFACS, this year they have chosen Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart program.

Reasbeck says he organised the event with Kurtis Edwards and both feel strongly towards giving back to youth within the community.

He says Jumpstart was an easy choice to donate to, considering the funds raised for the program stay within the local area.

Reasbeck says this Saturday’s event will feature four local acts from the surrounding area.

The concert takes place at the Civic Centre beginning at 7:00pm, with all proceeds going to Canadian Tire’s Jumpstart program.

In order to donate, Reasbeck says you can always go into Canadian Tire and purchase one of the red tennis balls for a single dollar, which will go to the Jumpstart program.
