The Kapuskasing Indian Friendship Centre is offering families the chance to come enjoy a free Christmas celebration this Saturday.

KIFC Worker Rhonda Martin explained to MooseFM that through the Families that Play Together, Stay Together program and in conjunction with Kunuwanimano Child & Family Services.

Martin says in past years the event has been for members of the KIFC only, but this year they have opened it up to the entire community as they have been doing with all of their events.

She says there will be different stations setup for kids such as cookie decorating, ornament making and a snow globe station.

Martin says their programs are free to the community and everyone is welcome to come enjoy.

She says the KIFC want to remind parents all children ages 12 and under must be accompanied by a guardian who is a minimum of 14 years of age.
