All day long on Thursday the Kapuskasing and surrounding areas will be able to do their part to help keep animals safe in their community.
The fundraiser is part of a national plan from Vista Radio Ltd. to raise $1 million dollars in one day for local charities across Canada.
Thursday starting at 6:00am is the annual MooseFM Paws for the Cause Radiothon, and this year the radiothon will be sponsoring Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing.
For twelve hours MooseFM will open up the phone lines asking for generous donations from the local community in order to help keep the great work of ARK alive and well.
ARK has been a major contributor to the community, helping to better the lives of many animals from the surrounding area through their work.
Through a donation Thursday you can play a part in keeping the Animal Rescue of Kapuskasing well equipped to continue their necessary work within the community.
