Mayor Alan Spacek along with CEO Guylain Baril and town council as a whole has announced a formal partnership between the Kapuskasing Economic Development Corporation and CannAssist Canada to construct an eco-friendly medical marijuana facility. The project is expected to provide approximately $3 million in annual income for over 60 families and an estimated $12.5 million in economic benefits to local business in the area.
