Upgrades are coming to Sensenbrenner Hospital thanks to some funding from the province.

The hospital is set to receive just over $570,000 from Ontario’s Hospital Energy Efficiency Program.

Manager of Plant Maintenance and Material Management at the hospital Norm Belanger says this money will go towards an improved heating system.

Belanger says the funds provided will help to make hospitals more energy efficient.

The total funding from Ontario’s HEEP to the 15 different North East LHIN hospitals will add up to $7.4 million.
