A few Cites des Jeunes students showed off their wondrous work over the past year to staff, fellow students and media today.

In the school cafeteria, a presentation took place regarding Anti-Bullying Awareness Thursday before lunch.

Vice Principal of Cites des Jeunes Tricia Papineau says the presentation was focused around their mural of a medicine wheel, something that students had created to represent the different values in their lives.

Papineau says students worked together with Hector Sackabuckshkum, who supplied his wonderful knowledge of First Nation life in helping students create their own wheel.

She says students working with Hector learned a lot about not only the use of a medicine wheel but how it also teaches inclusion.

Papineau says the medicine wheel goes hand-in-hand with anti-bullying awareness, and the mural will play a big role in reminding students of that.

Cites des Jeunes presentation was part of Anti-Bullying Awareness Week which took place November 19th through 25th.
