The Kapuskasing Accessible Bus Service will be seeing a new addition in 2018.

Kapuskasing will be upgrading their accessible buses in the coming year as council has officially approved the proposed change.

Chair of Financing David Plourde spoke to Moose news back in the summer when the change was first brought forward, saying that upgrading the buses is a necessary process needed every few years.

Plourde says council felt it was best financially to refurbish their newest bus and replace their oldest.

KABS ridership has seen a steady increase since 2010.

Kapuskasing will receive their new accessible bus in 2018.
