It is once again time for the annual TD Canada Trust Bear Toss in Kapuskasing.
TD Canada Trust Financial Advisor Doris Holland says the annual teddy bear toss will once again be fundraising for the Kapuskasing Food Bank and Daughters of Isabella.
Holland says toys thrown on the ice this Saturday at the hockey game will be given to the food bank, as well as Daughters of Isabella to hand out to children and families all around town.
She says the teddy bear toss has been ongoing for over a decade, and every year the community comes together and shows great participation.
Holland says they have accumulated over 100 teddy bears every year during the Flyer games.
TD Canada Trust in Kapuskasing will also be accepting unwrapped toys to give to the food bank from today until December 10th.
The TD Canada Trust Bear Toss takes place this Saturday at the Kapuskasing Flyers and Sudbury Wolves game which begins at 7:30pm.
