Iroquois Falls Comedian Helping Fight Cancer With Laughter

Sometimes laughter can be the best medicine.

A local Iroquois Falls resident and comedian Richard Steudle hopes that saying will hold true this weekend when he performs a pair of shows in his hometown and then in Timmins.

Steudle says he will be performing two separate fundraiser shows; both are on behalf of those battling cancer.

He says he performs regularly in Timmins, but this occasion will be more special than most.

Steudle says as his success has built he has started to plan more and more how he can give back to the community.

Steudle will be in Iroquois Falls Friday night beginning at 9:00pm at The Station Inn in support of Alain Lavoie who recently had a heart transplant.

He says the Saturday show in Timmins at The Working Class also begins at 9:00pm and proceeds will be donated to anonymous families in the area dealing with childhood cancer.
