Ontario College’s are coming up with plans for when students and faculty return to work.

The College Employer’s Council has called for a forced vote on OPSEU’s latest offer, which could take 10 days for the Labour Board to arrange.

Northern College President Fred Gibbons says while this is going on, the school is coming up with a plan to ensure the students get their proper education once the strike is over.

He says unfortunately when negotiations get to this point, there is no way of knowing what is actually happening unless you are at the bargaining table.

Gibbons says then the school will look at how long the fall semester will run through January.
