As the winter season inches closer, the town of Kapuskasing is preparing for another Northern Ontario winter.
Manager of Public Works Eric Cote says the town’s winter preparation has been for the most part completed.
Cote says the preparation has involved mostly machine planning and his crew is ready to go.
He also says he wants to remind the community to avoid increasing the workload by pushing ploughed snow back onto the streets.
The first snowfall of the season took place two weeks ago Sunday.
