Kapuskasing Rotary Club Walking To End Polio

Tomorrow you can walk with your community to help end Polio.

That’s according to Kapuskasing Rotary Club Public Relations Officer James Croteau, who says their first ever Polio Walk will be to help raise awareness about the crippling childhood disease.

Croteau says that their Rotary District 7010 decided that this year all 42 clubs would come together to help the cause.

He says there are only three countries left that have never stopped the transmission of Polio and last year there were only 37 Polio cases worldwide.

The Polio Walk will begin at the Rotary Hall at 6:00pm and will follow a path around the Kapuskasing community before finishing back at the Hall
