The fight against Breast Cancer is an ongoing battle that always needs a hand.
In Kapuskasing Blooming Bouquet is trying to be that helping hand for the community.
For a fourth consecutive year the shop will help raise funds for the Breast Cancer Society of Canada through Dress for the Cause.
An employee at Blooming Bouquet Maureen Loaring-Reed says they are going to try a new approach to raising funds this year, by first teaming up with Chez Lizette and secondly, by hosting a Fashion Show.
Reed says they wanted to make things more convenient for the community to donate this year.
She says as a bonus the top fundraising organization in Dress for the Cause earns $5,000 towards their area’s local cancer treatment facility.
Blooming Bouquet will host their Fashion Show Fundraiser at the store Thursday, October 19th and you can donate to Dress for the Cause through monetary or non-perishable donations given to both the Bouquet as well as Chez Lizette.
