Kids and parents in Kapuskasing will have the opportunity to learn more about how performance and nutrition go hand in hand.

Healthy Kids Kapuskasing Project Manager Kaylee Wedge spoke about their upcoming joint seminars that will take place in October and November with PowerPlay Hockey.

Wedge says that the seminars will be completely free and you will not need to register in order to attend with your child.

She says the fact that PowerPlay Hockey’s Sheldon Reasbeck is already a role model for many of these kids made selecting him as the speaker an easy choice.

Wedge says the seminars will be to teach the kids and parents how nutrition has such a major impact on their ability to perform in sports and life.

The Kids Nutrition Seminar will have its first meeting Thursday, October 19th beginning at 6:00pm at the Sports Palace Arena.
