Kapuskasing’s Bantam Icehawks are trying to raise funds to support their hopes of tournament play this season.
Team Manager Melodie Genier says the annual Bottle Drive is the first of many fundraisers planned for the Bantam Icehawks.
Genier says that they will be going door-to-door collecting empty alcohol bottles from the Kapuskasing community.
She says the funds raised will go towards helping the team afford to attend their tournaments this season.

Genier also says if you will not be present at home during this time, but you wish to donate, you are asked to leave them curbside.
The Bottle Drive takes place tomorrow in Kapuskasing between 5:00pm and 7:00pm.
