Public Has Until Friday For Input On National Seniors’ Strategy

The public has until next week on Friday to give input on a study to improve the quality of life for Canadian seniors.  Nickel Belt MP Marc Serre has been trying to develop a national strategy for seniors ever since his Private Member’s Bill got support from MPs on this issue and passed.  A standing committee has resumed studying seniors care and will develop its findings once the public input period is over.  To learn more about the national seniors’ strategy, go to www.ourcommons.ca and click the Participate tab and under Committees chose the section How to Submit a Brief and Appear.    Once on this page go to HUMA under the Participate in a current study section and then click the participate button.
