The Ontario NDP are taking Nipissing MPP Vic Fedeli to task for referring to Northern Ontario as rock or swamp.
Fedeli made the comment in the Legislature saying when you fly over the north and look down you see either rock or swamp.
However, Fedeli quickly corrected himself and said you see lots of lakes and wetlands.
Despite this, Timiskaming-Cochrane MPP John Vanthof said maybe there’s rock and swamp in Nipissing but adds the north has more to offer.
