News2nd Constance Lake First Nation Child Dies In A Month SHARE ON: Nick Birnie, contributor, Monday, Oct. 2nd, 2017The OPP is reporting another death of a young Constance Lake First Nation child.Members of the OPP were called to assist the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service and Cochrane District EMS around 4:00am Saturday with a three-year-old female who was having a medical emergency on Constance Lake First Nation.Police say the child was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.The OPP, NAPS and Forensic Identification Services are currently investigating into the cause of death.A post-mortem examination has been scheduled to take place in Sudbury on Monday, October 2nd.
