The OPP is reporting another death of a young Constance Lake First Nation child.

Members of the OPP were called to assist the Nishnawbe-Aski Police Service and Cochrane District EMS around 4:00am Saturday with a three-year-old female who was having a medical emergency on Constance Lake First Nation.

Police say the child was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The OPP, NAPS and Forensic Identification Services are currently investigating into the cause of death.

A post-mortem examination has been scheduled to take place in Sudbury on Monday, October 2nd.
