Provincial Funding Leading To More Mining Jobs In Timmins

Over 70 new jobs are coming to Timmins thanks to over five million dollars of provincial funding.

Minister of Northern Development and Mines Michael Gravelle announced that 13 local mining supply and service projects are receiving funding through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation.

Gravelle announced that 13 Timmins mining supply and service projects are receiving funding through the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund Corporation.

Gravelle says this is a create way to create employment in the in Northern Ontario and help support the mining supply services sector.

Mayor Steve Black says this funding shows the hard work and dedication of the businesses in the community.
