If you are worried about what you are leaving behind for your family you are not alone.

That is according to Skill Coordinator for the Disability Resource Centre for Independent Living Lucette Cousineau.

Cousineau says their 6th annual free workshop this Wednesday titled Wills, Living Wills and the Power of Attorney is a chance for community members to see how wills can positively or negatively affect a family’s future.

She says Lawyer Melissa Cote offers experienced advice regarding the importance of having power of attorney or a will.

Cousineau says she hopes the workshop will educate people about the importance of having a proper will.

The free workshop takes place Wednesday, September 27th beginning at 1:00pm at the Disability Resource Centre on Brunelle Road North.
