Two people from the region are facing charges of impaired driving.

The OPP says on September 14th, a 54-year-old Timmins man was stopped on Highway 101 east of Foleyet because he was showing signs of impairment.

He is facing two charges of driving while under the influence.

The OPP add that a 26-year-old from Kapuskasing was stopped on Highway 144 in Gouin Township on Sunday.

Police say the man is facing three charges including driving under the influence and excessive speed.

Both men will appear in court on October 31st.
