CROSH Program Coming To Kapuskasing In October

A ground-breaking initiative is coming to Northern Ontario.

Laurentian University back in June unveiled Canada’s first mobile lab for occupational safety and health research titled CROSH.

Director of CROSH Dr. Sandra Dorman says the lab will visit 12 Northern Ontario communities during their ‘Driving Prevention Through Research Tour’ from September 22nd through October 5th.

Dorman says the tour will focus on introducing the lab to different communities in order to learn more about health challenges and safety issues facing northern workers.

She says the only way to obtain health and safety excellence is to have participation by all employees and employers in every job in every community.

The tour will take stop in Kapuskasing on October 2nd at the Regional Conference Complex.
